Pistons & Props Car Show

Be part of an historic event as the RCAF celebrates its 100th Anniversary at the “Pistons & Props” Classic Collector & Specialty Car Show, Saturday, August 3rd and Sunday, August 4th at Southport, MB as part of the Manitoba Airshow.

Come for one day or both.

Entering the Venue:
• Arrive at the mustering point at Rotary Republic Park at 125 Cambridge Road (east of River Road) for 8:00 am.
• Note that there is no gravel on the route to Southport; however there is some gravel within Rotary Republic Park.
• Parade into the site at 8:30 am; prior to the gates opening to the public. Expected arrival is 8:30 am. Participants will be guided to the designated car show location.

Exiting the Venue:
• Leave at approximately 5:00 pm. The public will depart first, beginning around 3:30 pm.
• Enjoy the fun options being developed for the time between the end of the air show and car show departure. Ideas include: outdoor games, card and board games, and a trivia contest. Other ideas are welcome! There will be PRIZES!

There is no longer a need to pre-register, however you can do so. If you have already done so, thank you. The t-shirts have been ordered based on the registrations received by July 18th. People who registered after the above date cannot be guaranteed their size.

    Any participant who pre-registers AND comes to the show is eligible for an event t-shirt at the MSRA subsidized reduced price of $10 (one per registered car).
    Please note: As of July 18, 2024 we cannot guarantee t-shirt sizes as the t-shirt order has been placed based on registrations to date.

    Airshow Rules & Guidelines
    Airshow rules prohibit the following items:
    • Beer, wine, liquor or any other alcoholic beverage
    • Weapons, firearms, fireworks and explosives
    • Pets, other than service animals
    • Large umbrellas and tents
    • RC aircraft, drones, kites or any flying item
    • Laser pointers
    • Any other items security personnel deem a security risk

    Security will be monitoring safety and security issues and dealing with them in a serious manner.

    Please ensure you do not leave personal items in your vehicle or unattended as their protection is your responsibility.
